Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Brussels in the wake of today’s terrorist attacks.
To the families and friends of those who were murdered we send out deepest condolences.
To those who were injured we send our wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
To those who have been traumatized we send our hopes that you may quickly find resilience and resolve amidst terror and tragedy.
To those who organized and supported these attacks we pray that you will soon be brought to justice and that the consequences for your crimes are swift, certain and severe.
May the people of Brussels reject rage, and retaliation. Even amidst heartbreak and despair, may they retain the distinction between practitioners of a faith and perpetrators of fanaticism.
May the city of Brussels and all its residents find the strength to overcome these acts of senseless hatred and return to lives blessed by a sense of purpose and of peace.
